The SNAP Result Calculator 2020 helps in calculating the marks that you obtained in the SNAP 2020 exam. Here are the ways how the marks are calculated by the Snap Test authorities for the exam. 

  • There are three papers for which the candidates have to appear in the SNAP examination. There is a test for General English Test of 15 questions, Logical Reasoning test of 25 questions, and  Quantitative and Data Sufficiency Test of 20 questions.
  • Each question carries 1 mark. Thus, the total mark of all the three papers together is 60. 
  • So, you will be rewarded 1 mark for 1 correct answer. But on the other hand, there will be a deduction of 25% if you answer a question wrong. This means, for every 4 wrong answers, there will be a deduction of 1 mark. 

Now if you are not sure whether you can qualify in the test in one go or not, you can appear for the test for a maximum of two times. Snap Test will organize the test in three different dates where you can appear for the test two times maximum. In the case when you have appeared for SNAP exam two times, the higher marks of the two exams will be considered. 

What to do after getting SNAP Scorecard?

After you have qualified in the SNAP 2020 Test, you have to take a part in the next selection procedures that are mainly group discussion and aptitude test. Now different Symbiosis institutes can have different cut-off marks for these activities. So, you should not compare one with the other. The final selection is done on the basis of the result of the group discussion, aptitude test, and the SNAP test that you have appeared for. 

SNAP Weightage Breakup

You will qualify for admission in the institutes only when you have achieved a proper SNAP weightage breakup. Here is the breakup that you should have in order to qualify for the admission. 

  • SNAP Test – 50 marks
  • Group Activity – 10 marks
  • Personal Interaction – 30 marks
  • Written Ability Test – 10 marks

The total marks are of 100. Now different institutes can keep different cut-offs on this depending upon the seats that they have for the admission. 

SNAP Selection Process 2020

If you want to know the SNAP selection process 2020, here is the entire process highlighted in a few steps. 

Step – 1 – First, you need to get registered to the SNAP 2020 to appear for the entrance exam. 

Step – 2 – After you have qualified in the SNAP entrance exam 2020, you move on to the next procedure that comprises of Group activity, personal interaction, and written ability test. 

Step – 3 – When you qualify for the three important activities after the entrance test, the final scoring is done. 

Step – 4 – Here, a list is displayed based on the total mark that you have gained in the SNAP test, Group activity, personal interaction, and written ability test.

SNAP Merit List and Admission 2020

As mentioned above, the cut-off marks for the SNAP 2020 are different in different institutes. The Symbiosis Pune has the highest cut-off among all branches.. The cut-off marks are displayed by the institutes after the end of examinations. So, the students have to wait for the exam to get conducted to know the scorecard and cut-offs along with the merit list. 

It is expected that this year, the cut-off for Symbiosis Pune that is SIBM should be 98.5. Similarly, it is expected that the cut off for the branch SSSS, Pune should be of 55. So, it all depends upon the institute for which you are appearing for the test. 

After you have qualified for the exam and the selection procedure, you can walk ahead to take admission in the institute for which you have appeared in the exam. Answer: No, Symbiosis does not offer any such provision for revaluation of the answer scripts. The answers sheets are checked thoroughly so that no mistakes take place in checking the answers or in marking the answers for the candidates.

Q2. Can I apply for admission even if I have not attained the qualifying marks in SNAP 2020? 

Answer: There is no such alternative apart from the SNAP test for getting admission in the SIU institutes If you have not got the qualifying marks this year, you can try to work harder next time and qualify for the next session. Also, you can appear in a maximum of two chances to qualify the test. 

Q3. Till what time I had to download the SNAP 2020 scorecard?

Answer: The SNAP 2020 scorecard will remain live on the official website of SNAP for a maximum of one year. You can take admission in any of the institutes under SIU within this one year. After a period of one year, you have to appear for the entrance test once again to qualify for the admission.
