JEE Main 2020 Admit Card should be downloaded by the aspiring candidates now who will be appearing for the exam in July 2020. National Testing Agency has declared that the JEE Main 2020 exam for the session of April should be conducted now in the third week of July 2020. Normally, the admit cards for JEE Mains are released 15 days prior to the exams. A public notice was displayed on the official website of JEE Main on 31st March 2020 regarding the postponement of the JEE Main 2020 Exam Date due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Soon, another public notice was updated by the authorities on the official website again on 22nd May 2020 regarding the rescheduled date of the JEE Main 2020 Exam. The public notice read that the exams that were to be conducted from 5th to 11th of April 2020 now will be conducted from 18th to 23rd of July 2020.

The first shift of the exams will be from 9 AM to 12 Noon while the second shift of the exams will be conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The public notice also mentioned that the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card will be made available for download on the official websites of NTA as well as JEE Main 15 days before the start date of the exam. In this regard, the admit card should be made available by 3rd July for the candidates to download it from the official websites if everything goes well.

But lately, the CBSE exams for 10th and 12th students have been canceled by the Supreme Court after a PIL was applied by several parents of the students who were supposed to appear for the exams. Similarly, a large number of candidates who will be appearing for the JEE Main 2020 Exam are looking towards Supreme Court with the urge to either postpone the exam again or to hold it for some time. On the other hand, many of the states have also requested JEE to cancel the exams for this year.

*Note: The password that the candidate needs to put up along with the application number is the same that was generated during the registration for the JEE Main 2020 form submission.

Step – 1 – Candidates have to go through the same official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in after which they need to click on the Download Admit Card option.

Step – 2 – Now, this time, the second option that is Application Number and Date of Birth has to be selected from the options popping up on the next screen.

Step – 3 – On the screen that comes up, the candidate needs to put up the Application Number and have to select the Date of Birth from the calendar.

Step – 4 – Now, the security pin has to be provided that is mentioned on the screen itself.

Steps to retrieve Application Number

Step – 1 – Visit the Sign-in Page of the official website and click on the option of Forgot Application Number

Step – 2 – A window will option with the option of Find Application Number.

Step – 3 – Here you need to enter the details carefully. These will be your parent’s name, your birth date, and the security pin.

Step – 4 – As you click on the option of Get Application Number after entering the details, the application number will be sent to you through SMS.

Step – 5 – Save the details this time for sure.

Steps to Retrieve Password

Step – 1 – On the sign-in page, you need to click on the option of Forgot Password.

Step – 2 – A window will come up with different options to reset the password among which you need to click the most convenient one as per you.

Important Instructions for JEE Main Candidates

Aspirants who are about to appear for the JEE Main 2020 exam are all geared up by now and are waiting up for the exam, depending upon any update that may come up from the authorities.   • Apart from the admit card, it is important to carry any document for identification that can be PAN card, Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID card, or something similar.
