HPU Admit Card 2020 for the exam session that was supposed to be conducted in April 2020 can be downloaded by the students from the official website of HPU. Himachal Pradesh University will be soon releasing HPU Admit Card for the students will be appearing for the UG and PG exams for courses such as BSC, BBA, BA, B.ed, B.Com, M.Com, B.voc, LLM, LLB, M.Sc, MA, M.Phil, and PGDCA. As soon as admit cards are released, students will be able to download the cards from the official website of the university.
HPU Admit Card 2020
HPU conducts its summer session exams in the months of April/ May 2020 and the winter session exams in the months of November/ December 2020. But the summer session exam this year that was to be conducted in the months of April 2020 earlier has been postponed due to an increasing number of COVID 19 cases in the country and the new dates are to be notified soon by the authorities.
It is expected that the authority may release the new HPU Admit Card 2020 in the month of July 2020 and the exams should be conducted by August 2020.
HPU Admit Card 2020 Date
HPU has released a circular on its official website stating that all the exams that were supposed to be conducted in the month of April 2020 have been postponed as of now. The circular did not mention any specific date or any further notification. It read that all the exams are currently postponed till the time things do not get back into normal. It clearly mentioned that the new date sheets will be released after the normalization of the COVID 19 situation prevailing in the country. Such a circular was released on 5th April 2020.
But soon the university came up with another circular that stated that the exams that were to be conducted in the month of April 2020 will now be conducted in the month of August 2020. Though it is also a tentative date, the students should start preparing accordingly. Based on the circular information, it can be also estimated that the HPU Admit Card 2020 can be released by July 2020 or maximum by August 2020.
HPU UG and PG Admit Card 2020
On 19th June 2020, HPU released a circular after the circular or postponement of the April 2020 exam. This second circular mentioned that all the post-graduation exams for diploma and degree courses have been shifted to the month of August 2020. The exam will be applicable for all regular students of 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semesters and also the re-appearing students of 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th semesters. The university has also stated that the date for the exam has been mentioned tentatively as of now and there can be changes in it depending upon the situation.
The university has not yet updated any information about the UG exams. It is estimated that the university may soon release another circular that may comprise of tentative date of the HPU UG exams too.
HPU Annual & Semester Admit Card 2020
HPU Summer session exam usually conducts in the months of April/ May 2020. This year also it was supposed to be conducted in the month of April 2020 but soon the university decided to postpone it noticing the current situation. It is estimated that the semester exams will be conducted in the month of August 2020 and accordingly, the HPU Admit Card 2020 will be released by July 2020.
The HPU annual exam 2020 was dated in different months such as in the months of February, March, May, and April 2020. The date sheets of the annual exam were already released earlier on the official website of HPU. But soon, as per a circular release, all the annual exams were also postponed along with the semester exams. Now, the students are waiting for a circular regarding the annual exams too. Step – 1 – You first need to go to the official website of the university at https://www.hpuniv.ac.in.
Step – 2 – You now need to click on the option of E-Examination from the menu on the top of the homepage.
Step – 3 – This will take you a page where you will find many important links.
Step – 4 – As you scroll down, look through the links to get HPU Admit Card for the exam that you are appearing for.
Step – 5 – As you click on the link, another page will open up in a new tab.
Step – 6 – You need to fill the proper information on this page such as registration number, password, semester, student type.
Step – 7 – Click on the option of Download admit card to get your admit displayed in front of you.
Step – 8 – Download this document and take a print out to carry it along with you at the exam center.
Necessary Instructions for HPU Students
There are some of the important instructions that the HPU students should follow while appearing for the exams.
- The exam will start exactly on the time that is mentioned on the HPU Admit Card. But the students need to arrive at the exam hall for at least 15 minutes in advance.
- Apart from the HPU Admit Card, it is mandatory that the students have to bring in the college Identity card and need to display it whenever asked for. Not being able to do so, the student may not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- The applicants should not carry electronic items such as mobile phones or smartwatches in the exam hall.
- If anyone is found indulging in any kind of malpractice during the exam, he or she will be dismissed for the whole semester exam.
