GPAT Admit Card Downloading Steps for the Eligible Candidates

Candidates have to follow definite steps, using which the GPAT Admit Card can be accessed in just a few seconds. Even if it is your first time or don’t know how to process the document, then the steps that we are about to share will act as a helping hand.

  • Take a step on the website of NTA by clicking on https://gpat.nta.nic.in and Search for the tab that shows GPAT Admit Card for the year 2020
  • The login page will ask you for the credentials like Application Number along with the Password and then hit on Submit.
  • If the credentials are right, your admit card will show up on the screen immediately
  • Also, have some print-outs of the admit card to use during the examination.

It is advised to the eligible candidates to authenticate the admit card regarding the details mentioned on it like name, examination details, and so on.

List of Documents to be carried at the time of GPAT Examination

Yes, along with the GPAT Admit Card, every entitled candidate has to carry some of the compulsory documents without which they won’t be permitted for the examination. Here is the list of documents that you must fill up before the date of examination –

  • Hard copy or the print out of the admit card issued by GPAT in A4 format
  • Photo identity card for verification (including any of the following)
    • Aadhar card
    • Driving license
    • PAN card
    • Voter id
  • Passport size photograph (It should be similar to the application form’s photo)

Note – The identity card should be presented in the original form as photocopies will not be accepted. This way, you can avoid the mistakes or errors, and the same can be corrected by informing the authority of NTA. 

  • Reserved Category Candidates – Along with the above-mentioned documents, the candidates falling under this category must carry a caste certificate (original). Also, if the candidate is holding a Xerox copy, then it must be duly attested.
  • PwD Category – The candidate must carry the original disability certificate, and the photocopy must be attested by the concerned authority.

Reservation Offered for Handicapped Candidates 

First of all, as per the rules of GPAT, candidates who are visually impaired, handicapped physically, dumb, hearing problems, and have cerebral palsy will be considered handicapped. For their convenience, GPAT will allow specific testing devices like an abacus, wheelchair, scribe, and so on.

Some Important Instructions for the Eligible Candidates

  • Try to reach the allotted examination centre at least 90 minutes earlier. It is because; a lot of formalities need to be fulfilled. Reaching early will help you with enough time and will also release your nervousness too.
  • Carrying anything apart from the documents listed above will not be allowed. The important things will be arranged by the authorities.
  • Carry the documents along with the GPAT Admit Card both in the original and Xerox format. Also, the responsibility of the original documents remains in the hands of the concerned candidate only.
  • Make sure the documents are attested as per the rules stated as soon as possible.
